If the worst happens, considering the account is fresh out of OSRS gold the tutorial, can I simply let it to be removed because of inactivity? If yes and I'm in the middle of it, how long would I have to wait to re-register using the desired name in the game? If not, do I try contacting Jagex directly at contactus@jagex (that's likely not the correct email, but it's similar so I could just take it off their site..)
I still remember the password for the account. Even if I've lost it, I've only lost a tiny part. If it's necessary I'll be able to apply several times until I get the correct password, if nothing else. The idea is silly but what the heck.
I've been playing with the account I'm using, and even though I'm enjoying the new username I've picked I'd rather play with the old one. I'm assuming that my high-level accounts were hacked because the email that my high-level account had been on was inactive. I'm thinking that at the level 50+ your account is not being deleted because of inactivity or is it? The account was either hacked or I have no clue the reason, but I have no character name. Except if I have changed the email associated with the account, in which case I'm not sure how to restore the account.
Do a few farming runs. Even if you can only do one day at one location, you'll be able to earn cash consistently (that's the way I work, and I have an 8mil account). You probably could train to be stronger on lesser demons. they're now dropping ashes that have a value of 600gp each in addition to a few useful items that can be elched. Guthan's strength would be a huge help but you're not able to afford it for a long time. You can kill them at the Karamja place right next to the lave stuffies.
Every once in a while Try to find the most evil tree to take down. They can be rewarded with a nice reward worth a bit to choose a yew to cut down while you have the auto-banking effect still on. Auto-banking is available for a certain amount of minutes depending on how much help you gave to buy RuneScape gold destroy the tree.
